Ludo
Get all four tokens home before everyone else. Roll a six to leave base, land on rivals to capture them, and hide on star squares. Up to six players on the six-arm board.
Ludo is a family race game for two to six players. Everyone has four tokens waiting in their base, and the first player to bring all four tokens around the board and into their home column wins.
We use the classic rules: a six brings a token out of base and earns another roll, landing on a rival sends it back to base, and star squares are safe. With five or six players the game switches to a six-arm board.
How to play Ludo
- Pick how many players and how many of them are computer players.
- Roll the die. You need a six to move a token out of your base onto your start square.
- Tap the glowing token you want to move. It moves forward by the number rolled.
- Land exactly on a rival token to capture it and send it home. Tokens on star squares cannot be captured.
- Roll a six for a bonus roll, but three sixes in a row ends your turn.
- Bring all four tokens into the centre with exact rolls to win.
Tips
- Get several tokens out of base early so every roll has a useful move.
- Rest on star squares when rivals are close behind you.
- Capture whenever you can: it costs your rival a whole lap.
- Avoid stopping just in front of an opponent's start square.
