Snake & Ladder
The family race on a 100-square board. Ladders carry you up, snakes swallow you back down. Exact roll needed to land on 100. Two to six players.
Snake and Ladder, also known as Snakes and Ladders, is a race to square 100 that anyone can play. Ladders carry you up the board and snakes slide you back down, so the lead can change on any roll.
Play against computer players, pass the device around the family, or race friends online. There are two boards to choose from.
How to play Snake & Ladder
- Everyone starts off the board. Take turns rolling the die by tapping it or pressing Space.
- Your piece moves forward by the number rolled, square by square.
- Land at the bottom of a ladder to climb it. Land on a snake's head and you slide down to its tail.
- A six gives you another roll.
- You must land exactly on 100 to win. If the roll is too big, you stay where you are.
Tips
- It is a game of luck, which makes it perfect for mixed ages.
- Near the end, every roll counts: only the exact number takes you to 100.
